Dr. M. Sivaram has worked in the area of biostatistics including, Forest biometrics, Statistical techniques in Wildlife research and NWFP inventory. He has been leading a research programme for development of database on forest resources of Kerala which lead to creation of the "KFSTAT" an installable database.
