Attachment of the students from Universities /Colleges for carrying out UG/PG Internships – MSc dissertation work in KSCSTE-Kerala Forest Research Institute (KFRI) will be made based on the requirement of R&D activities of the Institute on a case-by-case basis. However, the number of such admissions, which may vary from time to time, will be based only on the vacancy of the Scientists of the Institute, followed by merit. These short-term attached students will normally partake in ongoing research of the concerned laboratory. Hence, they will not be entitled to any IPR or to participate in any Publication/Conference/Seminar other than those initiated and submitted by the Institute.

Selection will be made in consultation with the respective scientists based on merit and other considerations, such as the candidate's educational background, the facilities available to carry out the project, and the available vacancy. Only candidates who have been recommended for admission by the Scientists will be intimated through the HOD/Principal of the University/ college. No correspondence will be made in respect of applications not recommended for admission.
Applications without any one of the above enclosures will be rejected, and no correspondence will be made with respect to rejected applications.
