The species are arranged in alphabetical order under respective families. Important synonyms are also provided along with the valid name of trees. Local names are given both in Malayalam and English. Trade names of commercially important trees are provided. Exotic trees are separately listed with botanical name, family, common names and country of origin. This book is useful to students and teachers of botany, nature lovers, foresters and traders.
