Welcoming the Future Guardians of Our Forests
Today, the Kerala Forest Research Institute (KFRI) had the absolute pleasure of hosting the 129th batch of Beat Forest Officer (BFO) trainees from the State Forest Training Institute, Walayar, for their official study tour.
Our Senior Principal Scientist, Dr. A V Raghu, led an engaging introductory session for the batch, sharing valuable insights about KFRI's mission, our major research initiatives, and the latest advancements in forest conservation. We are always thrilled to share our scientific expertise with the upcoming generation of forest officers and help them step into the field with a strong foundation in modern forestry.
