Celebrating the 80th Independence Day at KFRI
The Kerala Forest Research Institute (KFRI) celebrated the 80th Independence Day with immense pride, patriotism, and enthusiasm.
Dr. Kannan C. S. Warrier hoisted the National Flag and delivered the Independence Day address, reflecting deeply on the significance of the day and the journey of the nation.
In his speech, he particularly highlighted the selfless dedication and invaluable contributions of our scientific community toward the progress and self-reliance of the country. He also proudly noted that KFRI continues to stand at the forefront of forestry research and environmental conservation, leading by example across all domains.
The celebratory gathering was attended by scientists, registrar, staff and research scholars, of the institute who joined together to honor the spirit of freedom and unity.
