A walk-in interview to fill the post of Project Fellow to join a time-bound research programme on "Development, Optimization and Pilot-ScaleValidation of Biogenic Silica Extraction from Bamboo Biomass for Industrial Applications" will be held at 10.00 am onward on 06 October 2026, at KFRI. Candidates who satisfy the eligibility criterion mentioned below are invited to attend the interview.

Essential qualification: First Class in MSc Chemistry/Analytical Chemistry
Desirable Qualification: Ph.D in any branch of Chemistry and experience in chemical processing and characterization of biomass- derived materials, Scale -up/ Pilot- Scale processing
Fellowship: 36,000/- per month (For candidates with Ph.D)
32,560/- per month (For candidates with MSc)
Age: As on 01/01/2026 - 36 years. Age relaxation of five years in the case of scheduled caste/scheduled tribe candidates and three years in the case of other backward communities as per government rules will be given.
