A walk-in interview to fill the post of Project Fellow to join a time-bound research programme on "Development, Optimization and Pilot-ScaleValidation of Biogenic Silica Extraction from Bamboo Biomass for Industrial Applications" will be held at 10.00 am onward on  23 October 2026, at KFRI. Candidates who satisfy the eligibility criterion mentioned below are invited to attend the interview.

Duration Up to 31.08.2029
Essential qualification: First class in MSc Chemistry/Analytical Chemistry
Desirable Qualification: PhD in any branch of Chemistry and experience in chemical processing and characterization of biomass – derived materials, Scale – up/ Pilot – Scale processing
Fellowship: Rs 36,000/-month (For candidates with Ph.D)
Rs 32,560/- month (For Candidates with MSc)
Age As on 01/01/2026 - 36 years. Age relaxation of five years in the case of scheduled caste/scheduled tribe candidates and three years in the case of other backward communities as per government rules will be given.
