The three-day training programme for Range Forest Officers concluded today with impactful sessions and meaningful field experiences.
Highlights included:
🧬 DNA Forensics in Wildlife Law Enforcement and Conservation – Mr. Suresh Kumar U., DNA Examiner, MFDT, Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology
🐆 Field visit to Thrissur Zoological Park, Puthur, including an engaging session on the identification of field markings in Big Cats – Mr. B. N. Nagaraj IFS, Director, Thrissur Zoological Park
🌳 An on-site study that connected classroom learning with real-world applications.
The programme successfully concluded with the Valedictory Session and certificate distribution, marking the end of an enriching and experience-driven training to strengthen wildlife protection efforts.
