Workshop-cum-Brainstorming session on Human–Otter Conflict in Kerala

The Department of Wildlife Biology, KFRI, in collaboration with the Kozhikode Forest Division of the Kerala Forests and Wildlife Department, organized a Workshop-cum-Brainstorming session on Human–Otter Conflict in Kerala at the Devadas Memorial Hall, Thamarassery Forest Range.
Dr. Peroth Balakrishnan, Head of the Department of Wildlife Biology, KFRI, led the session, sharing scientific insights on otters and global strategies for conflict mitigation. The workshop featured an interactive brainstorming session where forest officials and RRT staff shared their experiences and suggestions, contributing to the development of potential strategies for otter conservation and conflict mitigation in the region.
