Vijayan, DST WISE-WOMEN Scientist Fellow and Research Scholar at KFRI, has been awarded the Best Paper Presentation Award (Theme 4: Environment Conservation & Management) at the International Conference on Ecology and Ecorestoration of Riparian Ecosystems!The conference was held at MES Asmabi College, Kodungallur, on December 16โ17, 2025.Aswathy's award-winning paper, titled "Forest Fire Impacts on Vegetation, Soil Moisture and Micro-Watershed Stability in Attappady Western Ghats," sheds critical light on the ecological challenges facing the Attappady region.Aswathy is conducting her research under the expert guidance of Dr. S.
