A significant milestone for Kerala’s biodiversity conservation

Today, Kerala State Biodiversity Board (KSBB), in joint collaboration with the KSCSTE-KFRI Peechi, organized the CAMP Assessment Workshop to finalize the List of Threatened Floral and Faunal Species of Kerala. 
Welcoming the gathering, Dr. Kannan C. S. Warrier, Director of KFRI, delivered the special address, highlighting the vital role of sound scientific research in safeguarding our state's vulnerable ecosystems. 
The program was enriched by key addresses and deliberations from Dr. Anilkumar C. (Member Secretary, KSBB), Dr. N. Anil Kumar (Chairman, KSBB), Dr. S. D. Biju (Member, KSBB), Dr. R. V. Varma (Board Member, KSBB), Dr. A. V. Santhosh Kumar (Board Member, KSBB), Dr. C. S. Vimal Kumar (Principal Scientific Officer, KSBB), and Dr. G. Mahadevan (Senior Research Officer, KSBB), who joined invited floral and faunal experts to assess species and chart decisive conservation strategies for Kerala.
