We were honored to host a productive meeting today with Dr. Anish T. S., Nodal Officer of the Kerala One Health Centre for Nipah Research, and Dr. Naveen A., State Project Head at the Kerala Centre for Disease Control and Prevention! The discussions with our Department of Wildlife Biology focused on vital potential collaborations in the crucial area of zoonotic diseases, including the Nipah virus.
Working together is key to understanding, preventing, and managing these diseases for the health and safety of our communities and wildlife. We look forward to future partnerships that will strengthen our collective efforts in One Health research and public health initiatives.
