The KFRI Golden Jubilee celebrations
commenced on a high note today with the inauguration of the Tropical Forestry Conclave at the Main Auditorium.
The event was officially inaugurated by Shri A K Saseendran (Honโble Minister for Forests & Wildlife Protection), setting the tone for the sessions ahead.
The function was presided over by Dr. Kannan CS Warrier (Director, KSCSTE-KFRI). Prof. B Mohan Kumar (Research Council Chairman, KSCSTE-KFRI) also addressed the gathering with a Special Address.
Earlier, the attendees were welcomed by Dr. T V Sajeev (Chief Scientist), and the session included felicitations from distinguished guests Dr. Manoj P Samuel, Dr. V Balakrishnan, and Dr. N S Pradeep. The inaugural ceremony concluded with a Vote of Thanks proposed by Dr. V Anitha (Research Coordinator).
