Today marked the final day of our three-day training program, "Empowering Range Forest Officers: Strategies for Forest Land Conservation & Regulatory Frameworks," at KFRI. It has been an enriching journey of legal learning and field exploration!
Highlights of Day 3 (15.01.2026):
๐Ÿ›๏ธ Judicial Trends & Conservation:
We had a vital session today with Ms. Chinnu Janardanan (Assistant Conservator of Forests & Liaison Officer, Ernakulam), who walked us through recent key Kerala High Court verdicts. Her analysis of judicial trends in forest conservation provided officers with essential legal foresight for their daily duties.  
๐Ÿฆ Field Visit:
The participants visited the Thrissur Zoological Park, Puthur, examining ex-situ conservation management firsthand.  
๐ŸŽ“ Valedictory Session:
The program concluded with a formal Valedictory Session.
โ€ข Certificate Distribution: We were honored to have Mr. B N Nagaraj IFS (Director, Thrissur Zoological Park) distribute certificates to the participants.
