The NMPB-RCFC (Southern Region) at KFRI has won the Excellence Award for the Best Performing Regional Centre in the country. The award was presented during the 'Chintan Shivir' of the National Medicinal Plants Board (NMPB) at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi on February 11, 2026.
The award was received by Dr. P. Sujanapal (Principal Investigator-cum-Nodal Coordinator) and Dr. U.M. Chandrashekara (Project Manager) on behalf of the RCFC (SR) team.
