Publications

KFRI has contributed to the advancement of science by successfully completing more than 600 scientific inquiries pertaining to various aspects of ecology and management of tropical- natural and planted forests. Research outputs are published regularly as books, seminar proceedings, research reports, scientific papers, discission support systems including computerised database, tree and plant identification software, an international journal on Bamboo and rattan and the news letter of KFRI titled Evergreen. Currently the publication list include over 75 books and seminar proceedings, 500 research reports, 1400 scientific papers, 15 discission support systems including computerised database, tree and plant identification software, custom made programmes for site selection and productivity improvement in production forestry and more than 30 information bulletins and journals.
