World Environment Day 2025 Celebrated at KFRI Subcentre, Nilambur
The KFRI Subcentre, Nilambur, observed World Environment Day 2025 with a series of impactful activities focused on this year’s global theme, “Beat Plastic Pollution.” The programme emphasized environmental awareness and collective action for a sustainable future.
The event was inaugurated by Shri. Karthik P, IFS, Divisional Forest Officer, North Division, Nilambur, who served as the Chief Guest. In his keynote address, Shri. Karthik emphasized the urgency of adopting sustainable, plastic-free lifestyles and encouraged community participation in conservation efforts.
Various activities were organized to engage the public and stakeholders, reflecting KFRI's ongoing commitment to environmental education and sustainable resource management.
The event concluded with a strong message: collective effort is key to a cleaner, greener planet.
