Dr. Ayate Dipika Purushottam is involved in Plus tree selection, mass multiplication by micropropagation, and vegetative propagation of teak and selected timber species. Her research focuses on the productivity improvement of major timber species, including tree selection, progeny trial test, varietal selection, and multi-location trial for adaptability and performance. Conservation Biology and Standardization of vegetative propagation of tree species. Conservation genetics of rare, endangered and threatened species.
